Cotton is cultivated 100% organically, without chemical fertilizers or GMOs, and uses two times less water than conventionally farmed cotton. Polyester, on the other hand, is recycled from plastic waste, including plastic bottles. These trousers are intended for desert expeditions, especially sand desert treks. They have a lightweight gaiter that hooks to the Desert 500 boots' laces to keep sand out. A "storm" compartment is influenced by canyoning bags to safeguard your phone. The UPF index (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) refers to spectrophotometer testing on fabric. UPF 40 means that only 1/40th of UV rays penetrate the fabric, making it one of the most effective sun-protection levels. The bottom wear is also fragile stuff (sand-proof).
